Call of Duty Modern Warfare
If this new game will launch, it would be the sixth game in the Modern Warfare sub-series says LongSensation which is a Twitter user and a YouTuber. The title actually helps to build up a recent back to basics trend of naming conventions in long-running game franchises after the game God of War in the year 2018.
Interestingly, God of War is the umpteenth addition to the list of games with a series of the same name. While the previous names of the game do include numbers. This includes the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Jason Schreier of Kotaku confirms that the new title for the game will not include a number this time.
Moreover, Schreier even shared the Twitter post of LongSensation and he agrees that the name suggested is the real thing. In fact, he even said that it was hilariously true saying the first game was named Call of Duty 4 so this apparently makes the fourth one Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Schreier also added the words “Video games are absurd” which appears that he is actually laughing about this new naming trend.
Aside from that, we have also confirmed that the franchise is a soft reboot of the classic game. He actually confirmed this by replying to another Twitter user with the username Brandon who asked if Kotaku is treating the upcoming game as some sort of franchise boot. Concisely, Schreier simply replied the words “Soft reboot”. No more and no less.
When will it Roll Out?
The Call of Duty 2019 is coming soon. The official teaser of the game is already experienced by several young stars of American football. The stars are asked to play the Call of Duty 2019 in Nashville.
In line with this, those who have experienced the upcoming game does not reveal much information about it. But to tell you the best reaction, Adoree’ Jackson from Tennessee Titans of Nashville says it all in his words. He just posted it’s following with a fire emoji saying that the game is extremely awesome.
Additionally, the upcoming PC game is expected to have a single player. This is unlike Black Ops IV who totally ditched the option. Like so, Activision confirmed that the upcoming game will integrate co-op experiences that are similar to Black Ops’ wave of multiplayer and zombies.
The game might probably roll out between the months of October to November this year. Therefore, Call of Duty fans can expect a beta version of the classic game later this summer. But how about a Call of Duty mobile? Will be able to hear about it anytime soon?
