There is a series of screenshots appeared online showing the new looks of Diablo 2 Remastered 2019. However, Blizzard’s official Diablo 2 remastered release date is not yet confirmed.

As a matter of fact, there is a creative Reddit user who posted screenshots on the said platform. These screenshots show how the current AI upscaling would affect the game while using AI Generative Adversarial Network also called as ESRGAN.
The name of the Redditor is Indoflaven. Moreover, he utilized the Manga109 model for ESRGAN just to upscale the screenshots taken from the original Diablo 2 that has basic 1024X786 resolution. The result of his experiment is apparently great. As a matter of fact, it excellently portrays the potential of the old classic’s remastered version.
But the question is, will we ever see the same thing on the fresh Diablo 2? Well, we hope that Blizzard actually considers these creative screenshots as well as the possibilities for a remaster.
